The University of Maryland, University College, has had 10 of its online degree programs ranked as among the best values in the country, according to new rankings released Wednesday.
The university, one of 11 degree-granting institutions in the University of Maryland system, was founded in 1947 and specializes in providing adult education. Now it primarily offers online education programs, although it does offer traditional classes in its 150 classrooms across the country and in Asia and Europe.
