Republicans and Democrats alike sent well wishes and prayers in the direction of White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow after President Trump revealed that Kudlow had suffered a heart attack Monday evening and had been hospitalized.
“Paul & I are thinking of @larry_kudlow,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., tweeted Monday evening. “We are confident he is in good hands at Walter Reed Medical Center & wish him a speedy recovery.”

Trump announced on Twitter that Kudlow had experienced a heart attack, just as the president was preparing to meet Tuesday morning local time with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore.
“Our Great Larry Kudlow, who has been working so hard on trade and the economy, has just suffered a heart attack,” Trump tweeted. “He is now in Walter Reed Medical Center.”
About an hour later, Kudlow’s wife, Judy, told the Washington Post that her husband is “doing fine. Doctors here are fabulous.”
