The three-term Republican state delegate from Albemarle intends to announce Tuesday he plans to run for Virginia attorney general in 2013, the first candidate to enter the now-open race. Bell said his decision to run follows Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli’s announcement last week that he will seek the Republican nomination for governor in 2013. Bell serves as head of the State Crime Commission.
