Wildfires in Southern California have forced celebrities to evacuate their homes, with some being destroyed by the flames.
Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West, Caitlyn Jenner, Scott Baio, Rainn Wilson, Guillermo del Toro, Lady Gaga, and Alyssa Milano were among those who had to flee their homes in recent days, according to the celebrities’ social media accounts and news reports.
“Pray for Calabasas,” Kardashian West wrote on Instagram Thursday. “Just landed back home and had 1 hour to pack up & evacuate our home. I pray everyone is safe.”
The fire reached the Hidden Hills home she shares with her husband and children Friday afternoon. Jenner’s home was destroyed Friday, according to TMZ. Milano rushed to evacuate her five horses, ultimately getting them to safety, the Associated Press reported.
Thousands of homes were evacuated Thursday and Friday as two fires burned across Southern California. Officials also said on Friday that five people died from a third fire in Northern California.
