A tree fell on a moving car in Beltsville on Thursday, injuring the drive and pinning him in his vehicle.
Prince George’s County Fire and Rescue spokesman Mark Brady said the tree uprooted from the wet, soft ground in the 4200 block of Sellman Road around 9 a.m. and crashed atop a passing vehicle. Rescue crews used hydraulic tools to remove the driver, who was transported to a hospital in serious condition.
