Watch: RNC undercuts Clinton’s email defense with brutal new ad

The Republican National Committee has pounced on Hillary Clinton’s defense of her private email server amid new revelations by the FBI probe, releasing a new video that highlights major contradictions between the agency’s findings and claims made by the former secretary of state.

In the two-minute video, titled “A Tale of Two Press Conferences,” footage of Clinton defending her email practices is placed side-by-side with soundbites from FBI Director James Comey’s press conference.

Comey on Tuesday described Clinton’s handling of classified information as “extremely careless” and said it was possible that hackers breached the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s private email server, particularly while she was using it in hostile territories.

“I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email,” Clinton can be seen saying during footage taken from a press conference last spring.

“110 emails in 52 email chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information,” Comey said Tuesday.

“Clinton lied and endangered national security,” the RNC concludes.
