President Obama on Thursday invited an audience in Florida to thank him for Obamacare, which he said is improving the quality of healthcare for millions of people, and expanding coverage.
“Because of the law, you now have free preventive care,” Obama said at Miami-Dade College. “Because of the law, you now have free checkups for women. Because of the law, you get free mammograms.
“Because of the law, it is harder for insurance companies to discriminate against you because you’re a woman, when you get health insurance.
“So you’re getting better quality, even though you don’t know that Obamacare is doing it,” he said. “Thanks, Obama.”
