Trumpworld celebrates Kimberly Guilfoyle’s birthday at Mar-a-Lago

MAR-A-LAGO, Florida — After discussing NATO, Venezuela, and Huawei with his Brazilian counterpart, President Trump joined revelers in the Mar-a-Lago ballroom on Saturday night to sing Happy Birthday to Kimberly Guilfoyle as she celebrated in style.

Trumpworld turned out in force to mark the former Fox News host’s 51st birthday at the president’s Palm Beach resort. The president led the birthday wishes.

“So, Kimberly, how old are you? No, I’m not going to ask you that,” he said to laughter, according to video of the event posted to Instagram by one of the attendees. “I tell you one thing: She looks young to me and beautiful, and she’s done an incredible job. And her spirit — you said it — the energy … she’s got tremendous energy. And I think everyone in this room has great energy. So many people that I know.”

Trump began the evening at his club’s ornate dining terrace with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro for what aides said was a “working dinner.” His national security adviser Robert O’Brien was present, along with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, as well as Bolsonaro’s congressman son Eduardo, Brazil’s foreign minister, and its ambassador to Washington.

But the mood turned from work to play as the evening wore on, and guests in black tie or ball gowns gathered for Guilfoyle’s birthday. They included many of the big names from Trumpworld.

Rudy Giuliani, Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, Trump 2020 senior adviser Katrina Pierson, and acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell were all spotted at Mar-a-Lago. Family members included Tiffany Trump and Eric Trump. Absent from any pictures was first lady Melania Trump.

Trump Jr. thanked Guilfoyle, who was recently appointed national chairwoman of the Trump Victory Finance Committee, for everything she had done for his family.

“Princess, you are the best. Thank you for everything that you do,” he said. “I love you very much, and get back to work, OK?”

Guilfoyle, who was reportedly once in the running to become White House press secretary, has known Trump Jr. for a decade. They began dating in 2018, and she posted a photograph of the couple together at a White House Fourth of July party that year.

As Saturday night continued, guests moved on to a lively after-party.

Ivanka Trump was among those who wished Guilfoyle a happy birthday.

“We’re all here obviously to support the president and to support Kimberly, who works so so hard to support the president and celebrate her amazing birthday,” she said in a video posted to Instagram.

The event had elements of a campaign rally — as Trump family members thanked attendees for their support — mixed with dance music. Sergio Gor, Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s deputy chief of staff, offered shout-outs to guests from the DJ stand.

Trump Jr. joked that they would be asked for a contribution later.

“You are in this room for a reason,” he said. “You guys have been the warriors, the fighters, the people who have been there every time we have made a call, every time we made a request … I’m sure Kimberly will hit you up.”
