University of Indianapolis have given the all-clear after officials told all students, faculty and staff to evacuate the campus Thursday afternoon due to a possible bomb threat.

At about 5 p.m., the university issued a message on Twitter saying the scare was over: “UPDATE: Campus buildings have been swept. All clear to re-enter buildings. Evening classes remain canceled.”
President Robert Manuel then posted a letter to the student body on Facebook.

The university issued the alert at 4:30 p.m., adding that law enforcement and federal agents were monitoring the situation. All evening classes remain canceled.
The Indiana university has a student body of 5,400 undergraduate and graduate students.
