Tiana Lowe Doescher says ‘Trump accounts’ fulfill the American dream

Washington Examiner columnist Tiana Lowe Doescher predicted that more children will be able to achieve the American dream thanks to “Trump accounts.”

Doescher appeared on Newsmax’s Sunday Agenda days after President Donald Trump’s event at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington dedicated to Trump accounts, tax-deferred retirement accounts with initial $1,000 seed contributions for children born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028.

“Clearly, the younger generations need skin in the game,” Doescher said. “We’ve never had more average Americans invested in the stock market, but it is generationally very lopsided. We need something for babies, kids, and parents who want their children to be able to achieve the American dream.”

According to Doescher, the $1,000 start, coupled with a $50 contribution every month until a child is 25 years old, would result in “about the equivalent of 20% of the down payment on a home on today’s median price.”

“And that’s the American dream, right?” Doescher said. “This is a very, very small amount of new deficit spending in order to give young people skin in the game, so they aren’t chasing after Zohran Mamdani, AOC, and Marxism.”

WHITE HOUSE TROTS OUT NICKI MINAJ TO SELL ‘TRUMP ACCOUNTS’

This was a reference to self-proclaimed “democratic socialists,” who have proposed socialized healthcare, child care, and public transportation in recent years.

Rapper Nicki Minaj pledged “hundreds of thousands” of dollars toward the Trump accounts, citing her son, whom she shares with husband Kenneth Petty, as her inspiration. Her pledge was followed by Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase agreeing to match the $1,000 contributions.
