Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Tuesday rejected online claims that the agency’s actions were to blame for the death of a Georgia teacher, calling the notion an “utterly disgusting lie.”

Linda Davis, a teacher at Hesse K-8 school in Savannah, was killed Monday morning when an illegal immigrant struck her vehicle while fleeing arrest.
