The Oceanaire Seafood Room in Harbor East was recently voted “Maryland?s Favorite New Restaurant” by the Maryland Restaurant Association. The award is given by popular vote to a restaurant opened within the past two years.
“We?re thrilled to receive this award,” said Nate Beachler, general manager and operating partner of The Oceanaire in Harbor East. “The fact that it is voted on by the dining public makes it even more meaningful.”
Known for its fresh seafood, The Oceanaire brings the best of each season ? first-of-the-season halibut in mid-March, wild Alaskan salmon beginning in June, and stone crab claws in midwinter. It is also the only restaurant to serve Alaska king crab from the Time Bandit, the fishing vessel featured on the Discovery Channel?s hit series “Deadliest Catch.”
