President Trump launched a multi-platform attack against the department store Nordstrom for treating his daughter Ivanka Trump “so unfairly” by pulling her merchandise from its shelves.
“My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!” Trump tweeted.
He repeated the message on his Facebook and Instagram accounts, and retweeted it from his official @POTUS presidential Twitter account.

Nordstrom last week pulled Ivanka Trump’s brand from its stores, citing disappointing sales. The store said it wasn’t a politically motivated decision, pointing to regular business decisions about brands that are doing well.
Trump’s comment was followed by a spike in Nordstrom’s stock, with shares rising about 30 cents.
