President Trump said to reporters Tuesday that he is “demanding” a full investigation into the death of alleged child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein, 66, was found unconscious in his cell Saturday and was later pronounced dead from an apparent suicide.
“Basically what we’re saying is we want an investigation. I want a full investigation. That’s what I absolutely am demanding. That’s what our great attorney general is doing, he’s doing a full investigation,” the president said.
Trump was also asked about two of his retweets that alleged the Clintons were involved in Epstein’s death.
“Died of SUICIDE on 24/7 SUICIDE WATCH ? Yeah right! How does that happen #JefferyEpstein had information on Bill Clinton & now he’s dead I see #TrumpBodyCount trending but we know who did this! RT if you’re not Surprised #EpsteinSuicide #ClintonBodyCount #ClintonCrimeFamily,” pundit Terrence K. Williams tweeted, which Trump then retweeted. Williams’ tweet also included a video of himself claiming the Clintons were responsible for Epstein’s death.

Trump said of the retweets, “He’s a very highly respected conservative pundit. He’s a big Trump fan. That was a retweet, that wasn’t from me. That was from him. He’s a man with half-a-million followers, a lot of followers, and he’s respected.”
