President Donald Trump issued his “complete and total endorsement” to Steve Hilton in the 2026 California gubernatorial election early Monday morning.

Trump called Hilton a “great man” and said he can help restore California to its former glory, while criticizing Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) and California Democrats. The endorsement came in a post on Trump’s Truth Social account.
