A new ABC/Washington Post poll shows that Donald Trump’s unfavorable rating has jumped 10 percentage points in the last month.
In May, 40 percent of registered voters had a favorable view of Trump, while 57 percent had an unfavorable view. Those numbers are now 31 and 69, respectively. Among all Americans, his current numbers are 29 percent favorable, 70 percent unfavorable.
Trump’s numbers are devastating among black Americans, 94 percent of whom view him unfavorably. 89 percent of Hispanics also view him unfavorably.
Hillary Clinton’s ratings have remained relatively constant. 43 percent of voters view her favorably, 56 percent unfavorably. While Clinton’s numbers are slightly worse with Republicans than they were last month, some conservatives are giving her a second look. Among conservatives, her favorable rating is up 5 percentage points, and her unfavorable rating is down 4 points.
An opposite trend is seen among moderates and liberals. Among moderates, her favorable rating is down 3 points, and her unfavorable is up 2 percentage points. Among liberals, her favorable rating is constant and her unfavorable rating is up three percentage points.
