MIAMI (AP) — A second suspect has been arrested in a shooting at a Miami nightclub that injured 15 people, one only 11 years old.
Miami police said Tuesday a 16-year-old boy is facing charges of accessory after the fact in the case. A 17-year-old was previously arrested on multiple charges, including attempted first-degree murder and 14 counts of aggravated battery.
Authorities say the two were among a group of friends who went on Sept. 28 to The Spot, a restaurant that was functioning as a nightclub. A 15-year-old boy was targeted after getting into a fight with one suspect’s friends.
Numerous shots were fired. The 15-year-old who was targeted is hospitalized in critical condition.
The manager of the club has been arrested for selling liquor without a license.
