Beto O’Rourke named one Democrat he likely would not support: New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.
“Probably not, to be honest,” O’Rourke told reporters Wednesday when asked whether he would consider supporting de Blasio if he were not running. “But I think he is a good person who is doing his best for this city and this country.”

When asked why, O’Rourke said he was “so focused on this campaign and what we’re doing, and what we bring to the table. I may just not see that in the mayor’s campaign.”

A RealClearPolitics average of polls showed O’Rourke, a former Texas congressman, has 3.7% support.
