Chef, HBO teaming up for ‘True Blood’ cookbook

Ever get a hankering for food that slightly resembles blood? Well you are in luck. Cajun chef Marcelle Bienvenu and HBO have teamed up to release “True Blood: Eats, Drinks, and Bites from Bon Temps.” Don’t freak out — no real blood is used in these recipes. Some of the food just resembles blood, with recipes like blood-red beet bisque, but the book will also include fare true to the show’s Louisana locale, including gumbo and red beans and rice. The cookbook will be out next Wednesday.
