Baltimore Convention Center bookings are ahead of pace for the current fiscal year, the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association said Wednesday. A total of 301,800 room nights have been booked, 63.5 percent of the association’s goal of 475,000 nights, and 115 percent ahead of last year’s pace. BACVA booked 451,608 nights in fiscal 2008 with an estimated economic effect of $422 million.
