Nick, Vanessa expecting baby No. 1

Nick Lachey brought a big announcement with him when he co-hosted “Live! with Kelly” on Monday.

The former boy-bander told Kelly Ripa that he and wife Vanessa Minnillo have a baby on the way.

“She was in New York and I was in the Bahamas,” Nick, 38, told Kelly. “She went to the store and got a pregnancy test and it came back positive. We’re having a baby!”

The dad-to-be said “I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”

Shortly after the show, Vanessa, 31, tweeted: “Finally, Nick and I are ready to share our news…We have been blessed with a little Angel! We can’t wait to meet Baby Lachey!!!”

A source tells Us Weekly that the mom-to-be is about 12 weeks along.

This will be the first child for Nick and Vanessa, who married last  July after dating for more than three years.

Shotgun wedding?

She hasn’t even confirmed the rumor yet that she’s pregnant and already another rumor is floating around about Snooki.

The Jersey Shore star, 24, and her supposed baby-daddy Jionni LaValle are engaged, a source tells People magazine.

Snooki’s rep has been mum on both rumors, but the reality star herself has said a proposal may be coming.

“I know he’s the one so I know the ring’s gonna come soon. Well, not soon-soon. He knows it should be big, cuz if it’s small I’m saying no,” Snooki told People in January.

Not long after, she told “Good Morning America” that she wanted kids. But since then she has denied pregnancy rumors during several interviews.

Is this all really happening or is it just a ploy to get us to tune in to her new spinoff with Jenni “JWoww” Farley? Probably a little of both.

Sibling rivalry

Now this is a blast from the past. Mike and Carol Seaver are fighting again. But this time it’s no laughing matter.

Kirk Cameron, who was a guest on “Piers Morgan” Friday, sparked controversy when he said homosexuality was “unnatural.” The former teen heartthrob said, “I think that it’s detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization.” He also said he would not be accepting should one of his children be gay.

Tracey Gold, his former sitcom sister on “Growing Pains,” took to Twitter to voice her disapproval.

“I am a strong supporter of the #LGBT Community, and I believe in equal rights for all,” she wrote.

Tracey even changed her Twitter icon to an image of herself posing for the NOH8 campaign to show support for gay marriage.

I guess this answers any questions about the pair remaining friends after the show wrapped.
