Vice President Mike Pence will hold a press briefing on the coronavirus alongside Ambassador Deborah Birx, who is coordinating the White House’s response to the spreading illness, at 5 p.m. EST on Monday.
Six people in the United States have died from the virus so far, while dozens of others have been infected. President Trump tapped Pence to lead the American response to the COVID-19 virus last week.
