The August 2026 Supplemental Security Income payments, worth up to $994, will be sent to recipients in two days.
SSI payments are typically issued on the first day of each month. If the first day falls on a weekend or federal holiday, the payment is sent on the last business day of the previous month instead. Aug. 1 is a Saturday, so recipients will receive their benefits on July 31.
