Congressional Ukraine Caucus meets with Zelensky

Published March 5, 2022 3:53pm ET

Dozens of members of the Congress’s Ukraine caucuses are meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday morning over a video call.

Zelensky is expected to use the meeting, which is open to all members of the Senate and dozens of members of the House’s Congressional Ukraine Caucus, to ask the United States for more assistance as President Joe Biden has skirted Ukraine’s requests for a no-fly zone. Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio confirmed that he was on the Zoom call, which began at 9:30 a.m. ET.
