O’Malley Takes ‘Over 70 Uncensored’ Questions

In his first two days as a presidential candidate, Democrat Martin O’Malley took “over 70 uncensored questions” from the press and general public, according to deputy campaign manager Lis Smith.

“.@GovernorOMalley’s final avail of the weekend. Took over 70 uncensored q’s from press and public today. #leadership,” Smith tweeted.

O’Malley also sat for a one-on-one interview with ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos. That aired Sunday.

Others noted O’Malley’s accessibility over the weekend, too:

O’Malley’s Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, has been famously shy since jumping in the race. She’s taken only a few questions from the press, even though she’s been in the race for over a month and a half. And Clinton has not even sat for a one-on-one interview with any press.
