Adult film star Stormy Daniel’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, announced Saturday morning a “major announcement” was imminent in the “coming days” regarding his client’s claim that she and her daughter were threatened in 2011 in order to keep her silent on her alleged affair with President Trump.

Daniels, who legal name is Stephanie Clifford, claims she and Trump had an extramarital affair in 2006, one sexual encounter at a golf tournament while Trump’s third wife, Melania Trump, was pregnant with Barron Trump.

Daniels claimed in a recent “60 Minutes” interview that in 2011, after she agreed to tell her story to a sister publication of In Touch magazine, but she was later informed by two former employees of the magazine that the story never ran because after the magazine called Trump seeking comment, his personal attorney Michael Cohen threatened to sue.

A few weeks later, Daniels said a man approached her and her infant daughter in Las Vegas in a parking lot while going to a fitness class.

“I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter. T– taking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, gettin’ all the stuff out. And a guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’ And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom,'” she said. “And then he was gone.”

Asked if she thought that was a threat, Daniels said, “absolutely,” adding that she never saw the man again, but if she were to see him, she would be able to “instantly” recognize him. Daniels also said she never told police because she was “scared.”

Daniels has come forward about the alleged tryst in recent months while attempting to combat a non-disclosure agreement she signed with Cohen, right before the 2016 election. As part of that agreement, she was paid $130,000 so she would not discuss her alleged relationship with Trump. Daniels is now challenging the agreement in court, arguing it was nullified because Trump never signed it.

The White House claims that Trump denies having been involved in an extramarital affair with Daniels.

Avenatti has said that more details concerning the affair have yet to emerge and recently posted a photo on social media of a DVD in a safe, which he described as a “warning shot” to Cohen.

Cohen has said, “I have never threatened her in any way and I am unaware of anyone else doing so.”
