Appearing at a Texas panel discussion supporting President Trump, Donald Trump Jr.’s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, joked that the president’s son “likes it when I play nurse.”
Guilfoyle, 50, told the crowd that she has known both of the Trumps for years, but quipped, “I know Donald Trump Jr. a little better, let’s just get that out of the way right now.”
The comment reportedly elicited a mixture of laughs and groans from attendees at the event.
Guilfoyle, who formerly co-hosted The Five on Fox News, diagnosed Democrats as “losing it” and then pointed out that although she is not a doctor, “Junior likes it when I play nurse once in a while.”
Guilfoyle used to be married to Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who was mayor of San Francisco during their marriage. The two divorced in 2006.
She then married furniture heir Eric Villency, divorcing from him in 2009 after having one child.
In 2018, Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle’s romantic relationship became public. She joined the Trump reelection campaign in April as a senior adviser.
