Chelsea Clinton: Hillary ‘never forgets who she’s fighting for’

PHILADELPHIA — Chelsea Clinton welcomed her mother to the stage at the Democratic convention to accept the party’s nomination by describing Hillary Clinton as a woman who has spent her entire life fighting for families and children.

“She never, ever forgets who she’s fighting for,” Chelsea Clinton said Thursday evening.

“I hope that someday, my children will be as proud of me as I am of my mother,” she said.

Hillary Clinton has frequently mentioned her two grandchildren, Charlotte and Aidan, on the campaign trail and touted her new personal role as a grandmother.

“I know with all my heart that my mother will make us proud as our next president,” Chelsea Clinton said.

The former first daughter touched on Hillary Clinton’s work easing restrictions for adoption and pushing for healthcare for 9/11 first responders.
