Berkshire Hathaway spends $1.2B on share buyback

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Warren Buffett’s company paid $1.2 billion to repurchase 9,200 Class A shares from the estate of a longtime shareholder, and Berkshire Hathaway said Wednesday that its board approved paying higher prices for future buybacks.
