Cannot say we are surprised to hear that serial dater Alex Rodriguez has become bored with his latest love. The Yankees slugger has split up with Cameron Diaz.
“Cameron and A-Rod are no longer dating and have definitely parted ways,” a source told Life&Style magazine.
But why?
“He just doesn’t like her anymore. That’s honestly the reason they split,” the insider said.
Ouch!
The couple hooked up in February, but had not been seen together since September. In late October, the baseball star was spotted at a Las Vegas club where he “was chatting up a storm with the girls and spent the night hanging out with them.” And at an event in Miami, he was “a hit with the ladies, with several women just walking up and giving him their phone number,” a source told the New York Post.
But don’t cry for Cameron. She was recently sighted with “Glee” star Matthew Morrison.
We’re confident both parties will rebound just fine.
LeAnn: Not engaged!
LeAnn Rimes has set the record straight: Despite an E! report, she and beau Eddie Ciprian are not engaged. The couple “felt we couldn’t let this rumor go on any longer,” the country singer said.
“I’ve about had it,” LeAnn said. “Even though this is positive ‘news,’ it’s not true.
“Eddie and I are beyond happy and in love and look forward to one day sharing such private news with you all and hopefully will be able to enjoy it privately and share it with our family and friends before the world knows.”
But the relationship must be becoming pretty serious, as Eddie’s ex-wife Brandi Glanville, who was married to him when the LeAnn romance started, has reached out to her nemesis for a sit-down meeting, for the sake of her and Eddie’s two sons.
Wouldn’t we like to be a fly on that wall!
Miley’s breakup
Her parents are divorcing, and now Miley Cyrus is single too. The actress has split up for the second time with beau Liam Hemsworth.
The tween icon and the Aussie actor, who met when they played a couple in “The Last Song,” “are, and have been, taking a break,” a Miley pal told E! “It’s just a time out. He’s in Australia and she is on her European tour.
“Don’t be surprised if they get back together. Miley is smart enough to know that they are both really young and she has a lot of things she wants to accomplish on her own.”
Indeed, the star is only 17. And that brings us to the other Miley gossip of the week: Why was she spotted drinking a beer in Spain, where the legal age is 18?
Lindsay’s shopping spree
This just in: Lindsay Lohan busted out of rehab! But it’s not what you think.
The actress took a break from the Betty Ford center to shop at a nearby Forever 21.
The shop’s manager told Radar Online that LiLo “looks really, really good.”
“We were surprised that Lindsay was so low-key,” the manager said. “The only thing she asked us to do was to hold some of the items at the front until she was finished picking things out.” It ended up being about $200 worth of clothes, and included a sweater, pajama bottoms and “a ton of socks.”
