‘The big Trump train is rolling here’: Thousands gather in Cincinnati for pro-Trump ‘rolling rally’

Thousands of President Trump’s supporters gathered in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a “rolling rally” in which participants drove along a highway while waving “Trump 2020” and American flags.

“Our purpose is to get together and have a great day and show our patriotism,” explained Karen Mills, the event’s organizer. “The purpose of this event is to encourage one another, see each other as they drive on the other side of the highway, how they decorate their vehicles, and to support the blue line and to support our president.”

More than 6,000 people indicated an interest in the event, and local outlets estimate “thousands” were in attendance.

“It’s absolutely incredible. You know, they talk about all the riots going on. It’s good to see something peaceful,” onlooker Anthony Kelly said.

Another participant, David Powell, wore an Uncle Sam costume on Saturday and said the turnout was “lovely.”

“The big Trump train is rolling here in Mason, Montgomery, all over Cincinnati. And we’re just out here sharing some love of Donald Trump. We think he’s fantastic,” Powell said. “The turnout today is lovely. It’s a beautiful day. Thousands out here, it’s mega, it’s big, it’s just awesome.”

Rallies for the president have popped up across the country, including popular boat parades in which participants have gathered in states such as Florida and New Jersey to hit the water on boats sporting pro-Trump flags.
