Captain Jack Sparrow on deck!
Johnny Depp is set to return to Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise as Captain Jack Sparrow for a reported $301 million.
The 59-year-old award-winning actor was dropped from the franchise in 2018 in the wake of abuse allegations by his ex-wife Amber Heard.

A Virginia court found that Heard defamed Depp on June 1 and ordered her to pay damages amounting to $15 million.
Now, it appears Disney is clamoring to have Depp back in his iconic role, according to a report.
“The deal is reportedly for Johnny Depp to return as Jack Sparrow,” an individual close to Disney said to Australian news website Poptopic.
“Disney are very interested in patching up their relationship with Johnny Depp,” the leaker told the outlet.
“They reached out to the actor prior to his defamation trial against Amber Heard and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another ‘Pirates’ film or two.”
The deal for Depp to come back carries a $301 million price tag, the source said.
Depp would return for a sixth film installment of the franchise and a Disney Plus series, the source added.
