Omarosa says in new book she never heard Trump say ‘N-word,’ but alleges he did use it

Former Trump aide Omarosa Manigault Newman writes in her upcoming book that President Trump is a “racist” who repeatedly uses the “N-word.”

Manigault claimed in her book “Unhinged,” set to be released Aug. 14, that she never heard Trump say the “N-word” during the filming of his reality show “The Apprentice.” However, she alleges that rumors he did use it on tape during filming, spread by actor Tom Arnold in December 2016, are true. She attributes the claim only to three unnamed sources.

The former contestant on the reality show also claims in her book, which was obtained by the Guardian ahead of its release, that she personally witnessed Trump using racial slurs about White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway, who is half Filipino.

“Would you look at this George Conway article?” Manigault quotes the president as saying. “F—ing FLIP! Disloyal! F—ing Goo-goo.”

Both “flip” and “goo-goo” are racially insensitive words towards Filipino people.

“[I felt a] growing realization that Donald Trump was indeed a racist, a bigot and a misogynist,” Manigault writes. “My certainty about the N-word tape and his frequent uses of that word were the top of a high mountain of truly appalling things I’d experienced with him, during the last two years in particular.”

Manigault also claims that she personally made recordings of conversations with Trump. A source verified Wednesday that they had heard covertly recorded audio that mainly contains “everyday conversations,” in which Trump’s voice makes an appearance.
