A Sterling teenager and her 2-year-old daughter who had been missing since April 23 have been found in North Carolina, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office said 17-year-old Glenda Ester Reyes-Hernandez and her daughter Kimberly were located Thursday morning in Cary, N.C.
Both girls were safe and unharmed. They were found by Cary police officers.
The pair was reported missing by Glenda’s mother. Investigators had said they believed Glenda was traveling to Cary, but didn’t say what connection she had to the town, which is located outside of Raleigh.
