The Biden administration is destroying Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s mission, according to a Trump administration leader.
The White House reportedly decided Wednesday that illegal immigrants will not be arrested at schools, playgrounds, hospitals, shelters, or rallies. A Trump administration staffer criticized the policy.
“This latest policy comes on the heels of the No Worksite Enforcement Policy, the ICE Priorities Memo, canceling all border wall contracts, etc.,” former acting ICE chief Tom Homan said. “They continue the ‘give away’ programs that just entice more to come then actually secure the border. This is beyond shameful.”

He said those locations “were already sensitive locations that needed approval from high levels at ICE before anything could be done there absent a significant danger or national security issue.”
“While facing the historic numbers of illegal alien encounters on the southwest border this past fiscal year the Administration is doing nothing to slow the flow or come up with any enforcement strategy,” he said. “Instead they continue to create policies that will allow all those that enter the US illegally to remain in the country in violation of federal law until they award them some sort of amnesty.”
