CNN on Tuesday was forced to cut short an interview with a victim of Hurricane Harvey after she ripped the reporter for interviewing her just after she was recently rescued from devastating flooding.
“You all sit here; You all try to interview people during their worst times,” a woman named Danielle told a CNN reporter. “That’s not the smartest thing to do.”
“People are really breaking down, and you are sitting here with cameras and microphones trying to ask us what the fuck is wrong with you,” she added.
She went on to blast the reporter for continuing to ask questions as she and her child stood shivering at a Houston shelter.
“My kid’s wet, and you’re still putting the microphone in my face,” Danielle told the reporter.
CNN’s Jim Acosta quickly ended the segment saying, “It sounds like you’ve got a real upset family there.”
Danielle said she had waited nearly 36 hours, going without food, until she later walked to gas station where she and her child were later picked up.
