Protesters upset about President-elect Trump’s victory gathered across major U.S. cities for the third night on Friday. Demonstrations and marches in Atlanta, Miami and Philadelphia shut down freeways and traffic throughout the downtown areas.
In Atlanta, a few hundred people marched from Old Fourth Ward park down Ponce de Leon Boulevard and on to the capitol building where protesters burned American flags. The demonstration concluded at the Georgia State campus.

Down in South Florida, two groups comprised of hundreds of pople gathered at various locations. One group met at Bayfront Park, where Trump spoke to Miami residents just a week prior. The other group walked from the beach over the MacArthur Causeway before joining downtown, shutting down parts of Biscayne Boulevard and eventually disrupting traffic in directions of Interstate 95. By the time the group reached downtown Miami, police said several thousand people were present.
