Paul Ryan: Ban Clinton from intel emails to presidential nominees

House Speaker Paul Ryan wants the Director of National Intelligence to ban presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton from receiving classified information.

The 2012 GOP vice presidential nominee said while it is protocol for government information to be disclosed to the presidential nominees as a means of keeping the next potential commander in chief informed, Clinton cannot be trusted.

“I think the Director of National Intelligence should block her access to classified information given how recklessly she handled this during the presidential campaign,” Ryan told Fox News host Megyn Kelly Tuesday night.

On the legislative side, Ryan said the House Oversight Committee will take up the FBI’s now-closed investigation to hold its own hearings that dive into the federal agency’s findings.

“There are a lot of unanswered questions there that need to be answered,” Ryan said.
