Mark Levin claims Trump ‘most abused’ POTUS in history

Conservative firebrand Mark Levin complained Wednesday that President Trump has taken more of a beating from those who oppose him than any president ever.

“This president is the most abused president in American history,” Levin said during an appearance on Fox News. “I could care less if they think he’s abused power. You know who is abusing power? These chairmen who issue these outrageous subpoenas for his family, and bank accounts, and all the rest.”

The “they” Levin is referring to are congressional Democrats who have launched investigations into his 2016 campaign, finances, and personal life.

Levin suggested an orchestrated conspiracy between Democrats and major influencers in the media who have worked to undermine Trump since the day he took office.

“The media was part of the Russian collusion outfit,” he said. “You can’t tell the difference between the media on issues and the Democrat party. The media is a social activist, largely, operation.”

In recent weeks Levin has been promoting his new book Unfreedom of the Press which slams major television networks, newspapers, and websites for what he claims is overwhelmingly negative coverage of Trump.

Trump defied Democrats earlier Wednesday when he announced he would not work with them on infrastructure spending while they investigate him.

Meanwhile, Democratic leadership has been tamping down bubbling calls for impeachment from an insurgent caucus of the party that says Trump’s refusal to cooperate with oversight is a removable offense.

Levin suggests the media is rooting for Congress to begin impeachment proceedings.

“They push climate change, they push open borders, they push the impeachment of the president of the United States,” Levin bemoaned. “They do it in a thousand different ways.”
