Lou Dobbs: Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is ‘grand wizard’ leading ‘arbiters of truth’

Fox Business host Lou Dobbs referred to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey as a “grand wizard,” a title given to a leadership position in the Ku Klux Klan.

On Wednesday, Dobbs invited Sidney Powell, the attorney representing retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, to discuss Twitter suspending her account for sharing posts about the anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine. In their conversation, the host compared Dorsey to a grand wizard leading “arbiters of truth.”

“You were suspended for, as I understand it, 12 hours, Sidney. Everything is back to normal?” Dobbs asked.

“Oh no, I’m still locked out of my account, yes. I have filed multiple complaints with Twitter. I tweeted about hydroxychloroquine,” Powell responded.

“God forbid anybody express an opinion, one way or the other, on hydroxychloroquine in 21st-century America. The arbiters of truth, led by their, what would you call him, the grand wizard, Jack Dorsey? What in the world are they doing there?” Dobbs questioned, later chiding the social media company for suspending President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., for sharing a video from a doctor promoting the drug.

The video Dobbs referenced shows a group of doctors, who call themselves America’s Frontline Doctors, saying the drug was a “cure” for the coronavirus. YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter pulled the video soon after from their sites after it went viral on the grounds that it spread misinformation on public health. The drug is not proven to be a cure for the coronavirus.
