As Demi Lovato deals with personal issues in rehab, a new report claimed to reveal dark secrets about her supposedly squeaky-clean lifestyle — including allegations of drinking and drug use.
A college student said that during a mutual friend’s house party in Texas last December, he saw the now-18-year-old Disney star do cocaine.
“She was doing line after line like a pro — and she was 17 at the time,” he told Life&Style magazine. “I just remember her doing it as if she had been doing it for a long time. It didn’t seem like something new to her.”
Another source said, “Demi’s been on a tear lately. She’ll chug booze straight from the bottle.”
And heartbreak over ex-beau Joe Jonas — now seeing “Twilight” star Ashley Greene — may have contributed to her self-medicating tendencies.
“Since Joe dumped her, Demi’s been depressed and drinking a lot,” a source said. “It’s been hard for her to keep working so closely with Joe” on their tour, which she left for rehab.
“This is a young girl who got caught up in the fame and fortune of Hollywood and couldn’t see straight anymore,” another source said. “She had eating issues and emotional issues, and everything else got hitched along with that.”
Whatever her problems entail, kudos to Demi for having the courage to seek help.
Repeat engagement?
Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are back on. The couple, who called off their engagement in August after eight months, have reconnected.
“They’re dating again,” a source told People magazine.
The sometime Darth Vader was spotted leaving the former “O.C.” star’s Los Feliz home last week. Previously, the pair had a long-distance relationship — he is based in Canada — which was evidently a major factor in their breakup.
Guess Hayden must have spent the past few months racking up frequent-flier miles to visit Rachel. Because, you know, those “Star Wars” royalties probably do not pay enough for him to have a place in L.A.
Pink pregnant
Do not expect Pink to be swinging from trapezes for the next few months — she is pregnant, according to a report in Us magazine.
“She’s 12 weeks along,” an insider said. “She wanted to do it between tours, when she has some time off.”
When the fiery rock star and her husband, motocross racer Carey Hart, reconnected after a brief estrangement in 2008, “Pink was determined to make the relationship solid,” the source said. “Now she’s really happy, and she’s excited she got pregnant so fast! She’ll be a brilliant mother.”
So whether the baby is a boy or a girl, it’s safe to say it will have — wait for it — a pink nursery! (See what we did there?)
