Democratic congresswoman threatens black Republican teenager: ‘You’re right to be afraid of us’

Rep. Nydia Velazquez, D-N.Y., told a 16-year-old Republican that he should be afraid of her.

“Hi @TheCJPearson, I’m not “the woman sitting next to her”. @AOC and I — and millions like us — are the future of this country. And you’re right to be afraid of us. But you should learn my name.”

Coreco Ja’Quan “CJ” Pearson, a high school junior who describes himself as “young, black, and unapologetically Republican,” tweeted about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s reaction to President Trump’s State of the Union address.

“@AOC has been talking this entire speech and the woman next to her keeps trying to look the other way,” Pearson tweeted.

Velazquez, 65, took offense to the young Republican personality for not knowing her name and said that people like her and Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., are the “future of this country.”

Pearson, born and raised in a Democratic household, is a conservative activist and freelance journalist who gained international attention when he criticized then-President Barack Obama in 2015 in a YouTube video.

He revels in the title of the “Left’s youngest nightmare.”

On Twitter, where he has more than 245,000 followers, Pearson attacked the “Green New Deal,” and took several shots at freshman Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, who proposed the deal alongside Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass.

“I’m not surprised by the utter nonsense contained within the #GreenNewDeal. @AOC will soon learn that policymaking is a bit more involved than stirring a martini.,” Pearson tweeted.

The “Green New Deal” would move for the U.S. to completely eliminate carbon emission and instead rely fully on renewable energy.

Previously, Ocasio-Cortez said that the radical proposal could be paid for by tax rates of 60 – 70 percent for some of the richest American citizens.
