In an effort to help clean up debris left after last week’s killer storm once and for all, Montgomery County officials announced there will be a special one-time pickup from county maintained roads.
The pickup will happen Wednesday, when crews will clean up tree debris from all of the county’s 217 snowplow routes. Residents are encouraged to ensure the roads, sidewalks and driveways are clear of debris to ensure ease for the crews.
Montgomery County residents are also still allowed to put fallen tree branches in trash cans or drop debris off at the Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station in Derwood.
