Netflix has canceled Comedian Michelle Wolf’s late night talk show after only three months, according to a report in Mediaite.
The former Daily Show writer generated controversy during her appearance at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner earlier this year where she made controversial jokes about several Trump administration officials including press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Wolf’s show aired weekly and only had ten episodes. The streaming service also cancelled the Joel McHale Show, another late night show.
Wolf often engaged in biting humor on her show, including more controversial jokes aimed at the Trump administration. She said that liberals should insult Ivanka Trump by comparing her to vaginal mesh and herpes.
“Is your nickname ‘herpes’? Because you’re not necessarily the most dangerous person in the administration, but you’re very unpleasant, totally incurable, and you always show up when we’re about to get fucked,” Wolf added on her show.
