President Trump got what he said was an unexpected reaction from United Nations General Assembly attendees just moments into his speech Tuesday.

“In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country. America is — so true,” Trump said.

Attendees broke into laughter.

“Didn’t expect that reaction, but that’s OK,” a smiling Trump responded to the laughter.

Trump was addressing the gathering of world dignitaries for the second year.

In his speech, he rejected “global governance, control and domination,” as he pushed for sovereignty. He reiterated his argument that the U.S. won’t tell other nations how to live, work or worship, but later called on other countries to “resist socialism and the misery that it brings to everyone.”

He also spent a large portion of Tuesday’s speech defending U.S. withdrawal from the Obama-era Iran deal, urging all nations to join America in isolating the country.
