Britney Spears’s father requested an immediate end to the pop star’s conservatorship after 13 years.

In court documents filed on Monday, Jamie Spears’s lawyer stated that “Britney’s recent testimony and requests to take personal control of her estate and affairs have made clear that continuing the conservatorship is contrary to her desires.”
