Czech officials collaborating with the FBI arrested a Russian national suspected of hacking American targets, authorities announced on Wednesday.
A statement released by Czech police said the man was located on Tuesday at a hotel in Prague, where he was staying with a girlfriend. The unnamed suspect was taken to a local hospital after collapsing upon arrest, and will remain in detention until the Municipal Court in Prague decides whether to extradite him.

The Democratic National Committee and other entities affiliated with Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign have been hacked this year by actors the Obama administration has said are connected to the Russian government.
At least one of the hackers, known online as Guccifer 2.0, has claimed he is Romanian. Guccifer’s last communication came on Tuesday, when he released DNC documents indicating the party holds unpublished information about Donald Trump’s financial records.
