Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos was told to “go fuck yourself” by comedian Larry Wilmore on Friday.
The comment came after an exchange on society’s treatment of homosexuality during a panel on Bill Maher’s HBO show “Real Time.”
Responding to a comment made by former counterterrorism intelligence official Malcolm Nance, Yianniopoulis quipped that Maher’s guests were “awful” and that he needed to “start inviting higher IQ guests.”
“Hold on,” Wilmore interjected. “You can go fuck yourself,” Wilmore said to cheers.
“If your argument is that these people are stupid you didn’t hear a word this man said earlier in this segment because he can talk circles around your pathetic, douchey little ass,” he added.
Wilmore went on to condemn Yiannopoulos for his social media spat last summer with comedian Leslie Jones, in which he chided the “Saturday Night Live” and “Ghostbusters” actress for poor performances and said she was “Barely literate.” Yiannopoulos’s trolling, which was followed by a torrent of racist and insulting comments directed at Jones by his supporters, led to him getting banned from Twitter.
“And one last thing, Leslie Jones is not ‘barely literate,'” Wilmore said. “Go fuck yourself again for that one,” he continued.
“Excuse me she can barely spell,” Yiannopoulos replied.
Maher also came to Nance’s defense, telling Yiannopoulos, “You gotta lose that kind of shit.”
“This guy has done things that has allowed you to fucking live,” Maher said.
