White House dodges draft question

A White House spokesman declined to comment Thursday on a congressional proposal to require women to register for the draft.

Although the House Armed Services Committee voted Wednesday to change that policy, presidential press secretary Josh Earnest said he could not comment because of a pending class-action lawsuit on the issue.
