Protesters gathered outside of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland to “talk about the economics of white supremacy,” according to one protester who was captured on video.
The protester gives an example of someone with “white privilege,” the phenomenon in which a white person, supposedly, has more advantages than a black person.
“A white 31-year-old attorney, educated at Georgetown University, has been appointed to serve, not because of his qualifications ladies and gentleman, but because of white privilege.”
Accompanied by at least three other supporters on the outdoor makeshift stage, the protester at the end of the video discusses his concerns with Republican leadership.
“When the Republican Party leads, they will leave the shadow of white supremacy all over the United States of America.”
